Award-winning!

Double success for Circle clients at this year's Forecourt Trader Awards! Congratulations to The Carsley Group on winning the Best Design & Development Award for the Wyboston Service Station with its standout canopy design, and congratulations to Portsbridge Service Station on being awarded Forecourt Trader of the Year 2014. Portsbridge has undergone a major refit and the site has benefitted from being one of the first three to showcase our store concept for Nisa. Well done to all those involved from Circle.

Circle talks at ERPEC 2013

Circle's Chairman Robert Onion is presenting at the ERPEC event in Nice in April. He will be presenting a case study in the effectiveness of integrating brand and design into a 20 year business strategy by Emarat, a leading petrol retailer in the UAE. Tracking the brands history since 1996, Robert will describe the evolution of the Emarat non-fuel brand portfolio, from auto services to a franchise coffee offer. The presentation will demonstrate how fuel retailers can utilise branding and design alongside clear business strategy to create profitable businesses to supplement dwindling fuel revenues and create loyal customers.

Downtown store launches

Circle's experience in developing convenience store brands has recently been put to the test. We were challenged to create a bright and stimulating store experience that was a modular design to fit into stores constructed out of co-joined containers to be located on military bases. The Downtown brand is all about celebrating a buzzy, urban environment with strong appeal to international customers a long way from home. Previously stores were not zoned, badly merchandised and with very little on offer to encourage browsing.

A fresh approach to the store interior design combined with modern graphics and a distinctive communications style has revolutionised the store experience. The first live sites show how the new concept is attracting more customers, helping to increase the spend per head and to differentiate the store from competitors.
