BP helios awards

Circle has worked with BP for four consecutive years to manage its global employee recognition scheme, the ‘helios awards’. In acknowledgement of the importance of individuals to overall group performance, the helios awards celebrate project teams that make a real difference by putting BP’s brand values into action.

Circle creates the overall theme for each year, providing BP with a creative strategy and a set of design tools for launch, as well as offering ongoing support during the nine-month campaign. In 2008 our theme was ‘the big picture’, which recognised how the small contributions made by employees add up to major achievement for the group. In 2009, we chose ‘continuing the BP story’, a look back over the last 100 years of the brand in action and forward to the next 100 years.

Working across different media and co-ordinating with the film and event production companies, Circle ensures that people are inspired to enter year after year, that entries and winners are celebrated at each stage of the judging and that the theme is consistently communicated throughout. Circle has helped BP achieve high numbers of entries and ensured that each year has a fresh perspective.
